WAKE NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER
Benefits
£10.50ph
40 hours per week 10pm to 8am 4 nights per week
5.6 weeks Annual Leave pro rata (Inc. Bank Holiday Entitlement)
A fully comprehensive induction and training programme
Ongoing training to increase your knowledge and support your personal progression
You will have the opportunity to work towards a QCF in Health & Social Care
We will meet the cost of applying for your DBS check
There is the option of working overtime, when available.
The Role
This is a rewarding role, as it will involve supporting a gentleman with severe disabilities, autism & complex needs. He lives in his own home near Carnmenellis & has 2:1 support 24/7. He needs someone to join his existing team to work in providing support at night & assist with personal care & changing bedding & other tasks as allocated. He would like the person to be caring, enthusiastic, patient & self-motivated.
Applicant Requirements:
Experience at a similar level is required.
You will need to attend all training offered to you to support your professional progression
You will be required to support with their personal care and daily living tasks.We are providing individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to lead as ordinary life as they can achieve. To help them achieve this you will need to be flexible as you are required to work shifts including bank holidays, weekends and potential sleep ins.

Main duties and responsibilities:
To participate in the day to day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
To maintain effective communication and liaison with service user, family and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
To support service user with the preparation of Meals, Laundry duties, cleaning and social events.
To maintain accurate notes and records as and when required.
To work as part of a team to provide high quality care.
