Description
Key responsibilities of a Junior Heath and Safety Analyst include:
· Assist the Health and Safety Manager to develop, prepare and plan
· Develop and maintain health and safety procedures to support the planning and
implementation process
· Assist with development, implementation and delivery of company HSE training programme
· Administration of database systems including health and safety communication sites and
preparation of documents for issue
· Develop workplace inspections and action plans as and when required.
· Ensure any actions arising from audits, risk assessments or inspections are closed out
· Maintain accident and incident records and undertake investigations as required
· Maintain and manage health and safety statistics, updating records and identifying trends in
data. Providing reports weekly/monthly as required.
· Conducting research into industry best practice approaches to help the organisation improve
safety performance and efficiency and putting together business cases as required.
Profile
A Junior Heath and Safety Analyst should have the foollowing:
2+ years experience in a similar H&S role
Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
Team player
Understanding of Health and Safety legislation
Attention to detail
Self-motivated / Able to work on own initiative
Enthusiastic and willing to learn
Ability to influence Excellent computer literacy with specific proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
NEBOSH General Certificate
Familiarity of ISO45001Job Offer
