Job Details
Service Care Solutions are looking for a Leaving Care Worker (Personal Adviser) to join Oxfordshire County Council working with young people 17-24. We are looking for high calibre candidates with a track record of excellence, commitment and delivering to the highest standards to securing the best outcomes for the children and young people they work with. You will act as a Leaving Care Worker (PA) and will work with a caseload of young people developing plans to enable them to transition into adulthood.
Your job will be to act as a case manager and develop positive working relationships with young people 18 - 25 yrs, including managing risk and conducting needs assessments.
Good understanding needed of factors that impact on care leavers development and overall outcomes e.g. Trauma, attachment, learning and mental health difficulties Experience of complex interagency partnership work
Requirements:
Evidence of continuous professional development
Level 3 Qualifications or above
Previous Leaving Care experience (ESSENTIAL).
Hours: Full time, 37 hours
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire.
