Junior Accountant

My Client based in the heart of Kendal are looking for a Junior Accountant to join a friendly team in a exciting position.

This is a fully funded, structured programme that can take you on an exciting career journey in a Chartered Accountant's practice.

You will need:

AAT qualification or equivalent
Experience in working in an accountancy practice or equivalent
A friendly personality and the ability to connect with people at all levels.Throughout the programme my Client will pay for all course fees, exams and study leave.

You should be able to prepare VAT returns, do bookkeeping on Sage 50, spreadsheets, Quickbooks, Xero and other accounting programmes, go to client premises to do bookkeeping, assist clients with basic queries, run small payrolls.

Working hours: Monday to Friday

Salary: £18,000 - £25,000
