This role will oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments alongside coordinating and managing all transport and warehousing operations.

Our client is a specialist in the manufacturing of lenses who are based near Dartford. Due to recent expansion, require a Logistics Manager to join there organisation.
Description
Manage all transport to and from UK
Proactively monitor logistics service and provide feedback to customers
Ensuring that quality objectives and deadlines are met
Training, supervising and appraising staff
Lead continuous improvement and encourage involvement of the team
Communicating requirements and objectives to managers and stakeholders
Assist with stock takes for accurate inventory levels and administering stock control
Adhere to all health and safety legislation
Liaising with transport companies, suppliers, and clients
Devising rotas for staffProfile
The successful candidate will live within a commutable distance to Dartford and hold the following attributes:
Previous experience in National and International experience
Previous experience in a project management task/roleJob Offer
