A excellent opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger clerk to join our client on a ongoing basis based in Cardiff.
Position to Start January 2022, ongoing role.
£9.58 per hour / £20,000 pa
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
Duties:
Liaise with internal departments to ensure accuracy of records
Liaise with suppliers and ensure queries in relation to payments are answered accordingly.
Process documentation within the SAP system ensuring that they are entered correctly and in a timely manner.
Collecting and distributing the external mail that comes into the business on a daily basis
Work in a safe manner and have a proactive approach to all Health & Safety and environmental issues.
Promote Total Quality Management and Continuous Improvement.
Processing staff expenses.
Reconciling supplier statements.

Accuracy & clarity in both written/verbal communications
Excellent time management and personal organizational skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Skills and ability to plan and manage projects.
Exceptional customer service
Previous experience in a finance, accounts payable environment
Willingness to work the hours to get the job done
Looking for a career in an accounts payable department
The following skills/knowledge would be would be preferable but not essential:
AAT qualified or studying towards
A Level or equivalent in Maths
SAP experience
