Warehouse Operative

TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNITY based in Hartlebury

The ideal candidate would have:

Previous experience working in a picking/packing role.

A good level of IT proficiency including using Microsoft excel.

Be able to work independently and take initiative to solve problems.

Task include (but are not limited to)

Using IT systems to allocate the correct stock items to customer orders.

Using IT systems to generate and print shipping labels and VAT invoices.

Picking the correct stock items for customer orders.

Packing items ensuring they are adequately protected for shipment.

Booking collections for international shipments and ensuring all relevant customs forms are completed.

Communicating with the warehouse team at our site in Kidderminster to ensure orders are collected and request supplies where necessary.

Ensuring all customer shipments are packaged and sent within the dispatch time.

Keeping track of packaging levels and alerting management when items need to be re-ordered.

Actively looking for ways to improve packaging/dispatch.

Ensuring incoming deliveries are located in the correct area's in the warehouse.

Keeping the warehouse packaging area tidy, cleaning as necessary.
