I am currently recruiting for a Distribution Assistant on behalf of a materials firm in Leeds who require the successful candidate to come on board and over see customer orders and the liaison with transport/haulage businesses.
Client Details
Our client is a leading materials and construction business who distribute products across the UK. Due to a gap in their team require a distribution assistant to join on a permanent basis.
Description
Timely & accurate input of all customer concrete and mortar orders
Cost effective dispatch planning (shipping) of all customer orders through active liaison with commercial, operations and transport teams
Timely response to all customer enquiries and complaints
Specific support to the pre planning of major contracts or schemes in terms of production and transport capacity planningProfile
The successful candidate will live within a commutable distance to Leeds and hold the following attributes:
Previous experience in a warehouse, transport or shipping role.
A driven and ambitious individual.
You will be an excellent communicator and a proactive self-starter who can build effective relationships both with colleagues and customers.Job Offer
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of up to £25,000 alongside a pension, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays and a company laptop
