Salary range £45,000 - £50,000, plus company car allowance

25 days holiday plus bank holiday and company pension.

We are seeking a successful Transport Manager, who will provide and manage a safe, efficient, reliable and cost-effective delivery and collection service. This role will manage the Haulage relationships to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction at all times across the company and manage the transport compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the daily running of the Transport department
Lead, coach and motivate a team Transport administrators
Lead the daily routing of companies vans nationwide
Manage the company's fleet of cars through the leasing provider
Carrying out Transport compliance audits at all of the Nationwide locations
Booking 3rd party Hiab transport with their transport partners for delivery and collections nationwide.
Managing the supply chain of hauliers
Carry out yearly audits of the suppliers and ensuring we get the best service and best value
Ensure that Transport audit processes and procedures are completed in line with legislation

Successful candidate must have:

Can do attitude
Hiab/lift and shift experience
Transport/Logistics experience in a fast-paced environment
Experience leading a team
Experience in managing third party logistics firms
