Safety Female Worker - domestic violence
Search are currently working with a client who are looking for Female Safety Workers to work as part of a team to safeguard female victims and survivors of domestic abuse in Liverpool. You will be organized and committed to providing services of the highest quality. You will have experience of safeguarding women and children fleeing domestic violence. Essential to this role is having prior direct experience of assessing and managing risk. You will have experience of working in a multi-disciplinary setting.
The principal duties of the post holder will be:
Identify Secure safe accommodation for women and children fleeing from domestic violence
Conduct risk assessments, i.e MeRit, S-Dash
Generate referrals to MARAC, Children's Services, Adult Services and other relevant services
Risk identification and risk management of high-risk victims of domestic violence
Develop packages of support to women fleeing domestic violence
Work as part of a team to identify and manage risk
Build positive and professional relationships with all service users
Attend weekly case management meetings
Attend MARAC and other relevant multi-agency meetings
Effectively communicate and share information with Project Coordinator
Effectively communicate and share information with external agencies/professionals
Working as part of a team is an essential part of this role
Accurate recording of information
Maintain client records in accordance with MDVS' policies and procedures and in a manner that adheres to the requirements of GDPR.
Minimum requirements for the role:
The right to work within the UK
Proven recent experience of minimum 3 months of working in a similar role with domestic violence victims
Portable DBS desirable but not essential
