Are you interested in joining a reputable, multinational organisation? I am currently working with a client in Bilston who are looking for an experienced CIMA/ACCA qualified Financial Accountant to process accounting and reporting for salary, commissions and expenses. Responsible for delivering on time, efficient and accurate monthly accounts of the assigned European countries. Supporting the Compliance team in meeting audit and tax deadlines and HR in compensation-related initiatives.
The Job Role:
* Enforcement of Group accounting policies and Local GAAP
* Build a robust network of HR & Payroll contacts to facilitate quick resolution of issues
* Monitor closely with HR that we are on time with all payments that are due
* Work closely with HR to clear loans, travel advances and salary advances
* Interact collaboratively within the Finance team and across functions
* Deliver internal reporting and accountable actions on a timely basis
* Actively seek stakeholder feedback and act upon issues
Financial Reporting
* Ownership of all European accounting transactions
* Tmely, accurate and complete Balance Sheet reconciliations for all relevant account codes in US and Local GAAP
* Recording of payroll/commission-related accruals including bonuses, holiday pay, LTCP, pension and saving schemes
Reporting
* Reporting all costs, liabilities and assets relating to employees, sales agents and contractors
* Review and release relevant P&L and Balance Sheet sections for month-end FP&A review
The Person:
* CIMA/ACCA Qualified
* Strong accounting skills capable of developing deep subject matter expertise
* Discreet and trust-worthy, working with confidential data
* Self-motivated, proactive and strong analytical skills
* Assertive but diplomatic
* Strong ability to meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple assignments concurrently in a fast paced environment, remaining flexible and adaptable
* Problem-solver
* 2-3 years Financial Accounting experience
