Adecco Recruitment in Ashford are proud to be working with a well known company based in Margate, Kent who are seeking the below:

Job Title: Safety Support Officer

Location: Margate, Kent

Salary: £10.20 an Hour

Hours: Between 8:00am and 11:00pm (37.5 hours per week) - You need to be flexible with hours

Days: Shift pattern is Monday - Friday, 5 x 7.5 hour shifts

This will also include flexibility to do a Saturday or Sunday shift when needed.

Start Date: Immediate Start

Duration: On Going Temporary Position

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:

Undertaking a new individual Covid risk assessment or reviewing one completed more than six months ago for 2gether staff. Initially Facilities staff but this may extend to other department

This will entail a face to face discussion to complete the assessment and determine the most appropriate control measures applicable to that individual

Support will be provided by the H&S team should complicated scenarios require assistance.

They will be required to manage a master data sheet (excel) to track completion of assessments.

They will be provided with paper assessments as the assessment requires a signature but will have laptop/desktop access to track completion.

Their access to site will be restricted and assessments will be completed in a confidential manner in a designated location (may not be a office)

Experience and skills required for this position:

Good IT skills.

Excellent communication skills (written and inter-personal).

Ability to learn and follow procedures and processes quickly.

Prior experience, knowledge or understanding of Health and Safety and the completion of risk assessments.
