Logistics Coordinator - Slough

As Logistics Coordinator based in Slough you will be directly reporting to the Head of Logistics. You will be responsible for all goods in and out of the UK and will be comfortable handling Multi-Modal Freight (predominately Air and Road freight).

Securing some of the largest contracts nationally and internationally they have rapidly grown over the past two years and are now looking to add a highly talented Logistics Coordinator to the team.

Description

As a Logistics Coordinator based in Slough you can expect to have the following responsibilities:

Manage logistics between all locations - eg lab to lab, swab site to lab, from Regional Health Centres to relevant labs, warehouse to any CPD location
Liaison directly with 3rd Party Freight forwarders and Customs brokers
Negotiation of rates with all 3rd party agents
Able to quote Multimodal freight options on a door to door basis
Responsible for all import and export consignments, ensuring compliance with all customs regulations
Route planning for domestic deliveriesProfile

The successful Logistics Coordinator will come with the following skillset:

Multi-Modal Experience (Air Freight and Road Freight is essential)
Import and Export experience
Customs experience is also highly desirable
Candidates previously exposed to time-sensitive, high pressured environments
