Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Trainee Administrator for a national hardware manufacturer based in the centre of Edinburgh.

The main function of the role is to provide business support to the sales and distribution team. You will be comfortable speaking with clients on the phone, handling paperwork and will be able to use your initiative to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Supporting the sales team.
Ensuring data is up to date and readily available.
Running reports using Excel.
Answering incoming telephone calls to the business efficiently and professionally.
Ensuring customers are kept up to date with their orders.
Answering any customer queries and seeing to any amendments to their order(s) promptly.
Organising appointments for engineers to meet response times and ensuring the work is driven through to completion/meets agreed service levels
Escalating any fulfilment issues
All other business support as required.
Key Skills/Attributes: -
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A knowledge of the central belt of Scotland and the geography would be helpful in planning calls and routes effectively, but you will be aided by a vehicle tracker system.
A great work ethic and a cheerful, positive, calm disposition are all essentials to enjoy and be successful in this role.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Deal with any issues in a non-defeatist and optimistic manner
The role will suit someone who is looking to learn and be mentored in a fast-paced and interesting environment. You will have a desire to be developed within a role and follow a structured career path in administration.
Salary is £16,302 per annum. Hours of work are (37.5 hours a week) 8:30am to 5.00 Monday to Friday.
