Temporary Buying Administration
£10-£11 per hour
*This is a 6-month temporary contract *
Responsibilities will include:
Liaising with management/colleagues at various sites in terms of items requiringauthorisation for purchasing and ensuring the appropriate purchasing request process is followed.
Liaising with suppliers as and when required.
Ensuring optimisation and continuous improvement of the internal purchasing/receiving goods process based on measurable KPI's
Partnering with the Shared Services team to ensure timely payment of supplier invoices and work to address any related issues
Understanding the business and its processes ensuring the best buying strategies are in place and to mitigate against supply risks.
To assist in any other admin tasks when required.The successful candidate will possess the following:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and influence at all levels.
A good understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes and strong purchasing intelligence.
Experience in Procurement
General knowledge of software applications (Excel, Word, Power Point).
