IT & Stockroom Assistant

Adecco are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary for an Asset and Stores Assistant join their IT team for 6 months initially covering a maternity cover post.
(Post has potential to last for 1 year)
£19,452 per annum
The main purpose of this role will be to provide technical support for the business as usual and refresh of IT Assets throughout Cheshire Police and Fire.
Full training will be given, but applicants must have some IT background.
Responsibilities include:
To undertake stock control of IT equipment, software and storage locations
Configure new computers and their associated components
Diagnose issues with faulty equipment returned to stock
Undertake regular stock taking to ensure that physical stock and the system inventory is correctSkills:
Some experience building Windows 10 laptops, desktops and tablets
Working knowledge of ITIL framework
High degree of accuracy and attention to detailStockroom experience would be desirable.
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
