You will be responsible for overseeing operational delivery of in life vehicle refurbishment including planning and scheduling supply chain management, allocation and logistics, refurbishment standards, quality and cost control to enable vehicles to be reallocated to the agreed standard, back to customers.

Customer Service Refurbishment Manager (Body Work):
Supplier Management
● Ensure vehicle preparation standards are met and repair methods are followed.
● Vehicle appraisal process consistent and systems updated with status
● Consistently monitor, evaluate and improve supplier performance using SLA KPI, customer feedback and benchmarking (repair and preparation standards) and costs
● Maximise supplier relationships
● Multi supply management and work allocation
Customer experience
● Ensure all vehicle inspection images are consistent and in line with company standards
● All prepared vehicles are quality controlled before customer delivery
● Working with compound partners and internal customer services to proactively resolve day to day in transit operational issue to excel the customer experience
● Ensure customer reporting is accurate
Process optimisation
● Ensure supplier systems are updated and the repair status and times are optimised
● Ensure Image quality standards are adhered to evidence work required
● Work with the compound partner to maximise smart repair utilisation
● Working with partners to manage average invoice costs
● Ensure vehicle rejections / potential uneconomic repairs are identified quickly and resolution agreed with customer
● Working with partners ensure all vehicles don't have any outstanding recalls and don't leave the compound with a recall outstanding
● Working with the preventative management team to ensure all vehicles are serviced and mechanically sound
● Constantly innovate, create solutions and engage with colleagues
Profile
You will have vehicle body work experience or have come from a garage/mechanical background.
Experience of vehicle body and maintenance repair techniques, whilst demonstrating commercial awareness linked to these activities in order to deliver tangible savings
Problem solving to solve the unexpected to meet internal and supplier problems
Experience of managing suppliers / performance management using solid relationships to optimise supplier performance
Exceptional understanding the customer and requirements.
A strong influencer to get the best the of the supply network
Strong communication skills
Able to work with internal and remote team to develop and perfect processes
Able to challenge the status quo and share ideas for innovating better ways of working
Innovate, create solutions and engage with colleagues, customers and suppliers
Ideally this is not a remote working job, however given the specific skillset required the client is open to applications accross the country.
Job Offer
Salary circa £40,000 to £45,000 and an excellent career progression and a great environment
