QHSE Manager (Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager)
Full-time / Permanent / Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm / On-site based
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £35,000 (salary negotiable)
Do you have a Manufacturing Engineering background and are an experienced QHSE Engineer in either a senior quality or management role? An exciting opportunity has arisen for my client based in Gloucester for a Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager. This hands on, on-site role will require a confident flexible approach, excellent communication, attention to detail and mentoring skills and you must possess a full driving licence. You will also be managing a team of 3 and be prepared to travel to other sites in the UK and visit customers and suppliers as required.
Key skills and experience:
Experienced Engineer in either a senior quality or management role
Ideally served a recognised Engineering apprenticeship
Conversant with ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015
Ability to use conventional inspection equipment
Trained internal auditor to above management standards
Use of CAD systems to view 3D components (Spin fire / Catia / Solid View)
Proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point
Qualified in either or both NEBOSH (General Certificate in Health and Safety Management and AIEMA (Environmental management qualification)
Knowledge of environmental legislation and Health and Safety legislation
Experienced in planning and chairing meetings
