Job Details

My Client, a leading Financial Services company based in Watford are currently recruiting for an Underwriting Administrator for a full time permanent role paying up to £22,000.

The main purpose of the role will involve providing support to an Underwriting team as well as broker partners having responsibility for completing administration and support tasks to maximise lending completions.

Tasks of the role -

Preparing offers and completing relevant documentation for said mortgage offers
Preparing mortgage cases for pay-out, dispatching cheques, setting up faster payments and preparing appropriate documentation to the applicants following approval
Monitor uncashed cheques or payment amendments to forward on to relevant clients or creditors
Ensure all documentation is obtained, updated, audited and filed
Support underwriters and line management in achieving new lending volumes
Involvement in training
Meeting objectives
Liaise with external agencies such as Land Registry, solicitors and creditors in writing and over the phone
Meet all regulatory requirements
Other ad hoc duties
Experience required -

Previous experience within the Financial Services sector
Excellent Customer Service
Strong negotiation skills
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong administration
