Our client is a public distance Learning and Research University, and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.
They are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Finance Business Partner to join them from 1st February until 31st July 2022, working 37hrs a week and paying between £12.21ph and £12.93ph depending on experience.
This role will be working from home and equipment will be supplied.
About the role
Assist in preparing the forecast of research grants and other projects
Maintain ledger data for research grants and other projects
Reconcile and monitor departmental and appropriate research budgets as required and record
adjustments
Supporting with any audit activity as and when required for systems purposes
Other various administrative duties as requiredSkills required:
Recent or relevant administration experience in financial / accountancy teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work well and collaboratively as part of a wider team
Excellent Excel, financial systems and other Microsoft systems knowledge (ideally use of SAP)
Ability to use own initiative and lead on finance administration processes to tight deadlines
