Contracts Manager / Full-time / Temporary / Remote
Hales Group are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our client based in either Norfolk or Suffolk
Location: Remote
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 - 5
Salary: Band 7
Ward/Dept: Contracts
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
Responsible for managing the Trust's healthcare contracts and supporting the contracts process, ensuring that appropriate processes, controls and systems are in place to meet the Trust's statutory and contractual obligations. Responsible for relationship management for identified contracts.
To assist the Senior Contracts and Performance Manager in identifying any opportunities for improving the contracting/ commissioning processes both at a strategic level and a day to day operational level.
Responsible for managing the Trust's healthcare contracts (location to be confirmed) and supporting the contracts process, ensuring that appropriate processes, controls and systems are in place to meet the Trust's statutory and contractual obligations. Responsible for relationship management for identified contracts.
To assist the Senior Contracts and Performance Manager in identifying any opportunities for improving the contracting/ commissioning processes both at a strategic level and a day to day operational level.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; or CCAB, CIMA or equivalent. Professional qualification (including relevant overseas qualification), or equivalent experience.
Experience
Health care Management.
Experience of working in a role with a contracts/commissioning management function.
Experience of representing an organisation within local or regional arenas.
Skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Both hard and soft.
Ability to work at an advanced level with Access, Excel & other more basic data handling and analysing programmes.
Ability to interpret data into meaningful information.
Problem solving. Change management skills. Financial management and negotiating skills.
Proven ability to achieve targets and objectives within pressured deadlines.
Knowledge
Healthcare contracting and commissioning approaches.
Other
Good team player.
Professional approach with an ability to focus on customer service and quality orientation.
Self-motivated, flexible and corporate worker.
Ability to work on own initiative with minimum of day to day supervision.
Able to travel within the UK.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
Experience
Extensive Health care management.
Holding a previous post as a leader..
Extensive technical knowledge of healthcare contracts including drafting, negotiating and overseeing contract development.
Report writing via 3rd party tools.
Experience of mental health or community contracts.
