An exciting opportunity has arisen to be working as a Cycle Counter on site at a leading international automotive business based in their large Factory in Baildon, Shipley. Paying £11.50 per hour plus the opportunity for overtime, delivering a salary of £22,425 in the week plus overtime. EARLY FINISH FRIDAYS!!

Commutable from Bradford and West Leeds, the roles are shift based and offer 2 shift patterns as below:

Hours of work

Day Shifts - £11.50 p/h

Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm and Fridays 6am - 11am

Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10pm and Fridays 11am - 4pm

Weekend Shifts - £18.70 p/h

Saturday 6am - 6pm

Sunday 6am- 6pm

As a Cycle Counter, your responsibilities will be:

The cycle counter will be responsible for checking the stock accuracy in production and stores areas. The role will involve the counting of stock and efficient reporting to ensure accurate recording of stock levels in the business.

Counting stock on the shop floor, this will be in several locations across the business. These will include production and warehouse areas
Checking against the stock records on a computer system.
Summarising differences and reporting these back to the stock controller, so the system can be updated.
Meeting required KPI targets, set by and measured by the stock controller
Operating a forklift truck in some areas, to access stock on higher levels.The ideal candidate:

The candidate will need to be accurate and determined to check all areas.
Working under the supervision of the stock controller, but with a high level of independence, the role will require high levels of self-motivation
Be able to communicate at various levels to work on your own but also with production supervision.
Needs to use initiative and double check if there is a large variance and make sure all stock is countedEssential Skills:

FLT license
GCSE level mathematics qualification at grade C or aboveAdditional Benefits:
