Nigh Shift Forklift drivers/ Warehouse/Coldstore Operatives

Reach Truck forklift drivers / Warehouse Operatives / Supervisor Checkers/Trainee Shift Manager for our Coldstore.

Location Newcastle (NE12 9SZ)

Hours : Sunday to Thursday (night shift)

Also looking for part time person to do Sunday night to Monday morning long shift

Rates of pay dependent on experience, qualifications. £9.31 p/hour Plus nightshift allowance £1/hour.

Over time gets paid above the contracted hours. Suitable candidate will be trained to become Shift Manager.

We are an importer and distributor of frozen, chilled and ambient food products with several depots and a national distribution network.

Role:

A vacancy has arisen which will involve working in a busy Coldstore & distribution warehouse,  

Should be Honest, physically fit, be able to work as part of a team but also be able to use own initiative and hold current up to date forklift certificates if applying for forklift driver vacancies. Opportunities will be offered for warehouse operatives 

Manual handling activities such as but not limited to, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying will be required.

These are permanent roles which will provide further opportunities in the future. You will directly report to the Warehouse manager and the Coldstore supervisor.
