Job Title: Youth Support Worker Location: Slough
This position involves delivering support to young vulnerable 16-18 year olds within ourclient's 24/7 semi-independent accommodation.
The support will be based around a living package of structured key work sessions to support young people to gain independent living skills. These sessions will support their transition into adulthood, develop the young people’s aspirations, ambitions, health, education, relationships, self-confidence, self-worth, life skills, employment skills, perception, attitude and social skills.
Provide practical support whilst on shift for all young people
Build and develop relationships with our young people and encourage them to participate fully in the opportunities offered within the house and external environments.
Skills / Experience Required:
Be able to demonstrate interpersonal skills
Be able to work shifts that will include night shifts, evenings, weekends, bank holidays in a flexible way to meet the needs of the young people.
Be passionate about supporting young people with a variety of complex needs.
Will have a willingness to learn
Have an enhanced DBS preferably on the update service
Driving licence with vehicle (Preferred)
