Emotional Wellbeing Support Worker
Job Details
Adecco are currently looking for a number of Emotional Wellbeing Support Workers to work for our Client in Bolton.
This is a temporary position to start as soon as possible, running through to July 2022.
You will be required to support learners with a wide range of enduring mental health issues, ADHD, Autism, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, behavioural difficulties.
Skills/Experience:
Previous experience of working with Mental/Emotional Health and Wellbeing is essential.
Excellent behaviour management with knowledge of a range of de-escalation techniques.
A desire to work with learners with challenging behaviour.
A positive attitude with a calm but firm approach.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
British Sign Language Level 2 is desirable not essential.
No specific hours can be confirmed for this role as this will be determined by the learners schedule/timetable. Normally the client can offer around 20 hours, but again, this cannot be guaranteed.
Days: Monday-Friday
Salary: £9.26ph
All applicants will be required to take out enhanced DBS for this role.
