My client is seeking an AML Analyst to join their award-winning team based in Peterborough.
COMPETITIVE SALARY OF £22,000 - £23,000 (DOE)
WORKING HOURS: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9:00am - 5:30pm
As an AML Analyst you will be working within the clients UK AML compliance team covering all client types in accordance with Money Laundering Regulations and other Financial Crime regulated regulations.
The Role:
Complete Conduct Client due Diligence (CDD) checks for company clients and counterparties
Obtaining and reviewing information for corporates and private individuals from relevant sources (e.g Companies House).
Liaising with internal stakeholders and clients/solicitors to obtain further information
Ensuring CDD checks are conducted within the time frames required
Completing investigation and resolution of PEP reviews and sanctions screening alerts as required
The Person:
Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable
Proven track record of working to deadlines
Strong research and problem-solving experience
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Computer literate
Analytically minded in approach to work
Self-motivated
Open to graduated with the following degrees: Financial Crime, Criminology, Law and Conveyancing
