Residential Childcare Worker

The nature of this role is to support Children and Young people in a residential home who display emotional and behavioural difficulties, by creating a home environment that exceeds the needs of the children and young people, enabling them to express their characters, feel safe and enrich their lives.

IMPORTANT:- The qualification needed for Residential Child Care Workers (RCCW's) is at Level 3, this is required in order to apply for this post. Details of qualifications which can be used are:-

Level 3 Diploma for Residential Care. (approx. 2020/1)
Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce: Social Care Pathway. (approx. 2015)
Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care-Children and Young People. (approx. 2010)
Level 3 Caring for Children and Young People. (approx. 2001)*Alternatively a Degree in Social work would also qualify them for the RCCW post
