Job Details
Adecco are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary for a Distribution and Stores Assistant to support the force in the quick and effective movement of post and packages around the force area for the next 6 months.
This role requires a driving licence.
You will be responsible for the picking, packing and delivery of post and packages (including uniform, specialist kit and other equipment) across the force area. You will be responsible for the franking and collection of post, and movement of internal mail.
A level of physical work is required for this post, as you would be moving boxes and smaller items by hand to be picked and packed, or logged back in to the station.
Some experience using IT is preferable.
Working hours are 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm
Pay rate is £10.08 p/h
This role is subject to a background check.
