BAKERY OPERATIVE

My client a large food manufacturing company in Accrington is looking for production operatives to join night shift.

Working 7:00am-3:00 pm 5 days over 7 and will involve working a shift at the weekend.

Duties will include:

* Reading recipe to mix ingredients

* Placing items into the oven

* Setting oven temperatures

* Leaving items to cool on cooling trays

* Deep cleaning baking and cooling trays at the beginning and end of each shift

* Quality checking finished product

* Adhering to strict food hygiene procedure

* Manual handling and repetitive work

This is a fast paced position and involves a manual handling, candidates must have previous experience in a similar role, ideally from a food production background, although candidates with previous production experience will also be considered.

This is a temporary position for 12 weeks, with the strong possibility of a permanent contract for the right person
