We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading utilities supplier as a Scheduler working shifts including unsocial able hours (some roles have night shifts too). Our client is currently seeking a Scheduler based in Hinckley, Leicestershire moving to Ansty in Coventry within the next 12 months. This a full-time temp to perm contract for 3 months. All contracts will be reviewed with a look to make the contract permanent as an employee.

Unsociable hours rota Salary (Entry Rate) £20,964

Unsociable hours and night shifts Salary (Entry Rate) £22,430

*Both of these are only entry salaries, there is room for progression within this role at our client amounting up to £26,000+ Annually

About The Role
As our Scheduler you'll give the Scheduling and Dispatch team assistance operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to contribute to the achievement of departmental and Business objectives. Our team is dedicated to safe guarding life and property, and a fundamental element of the role is to ensure the delivery of the standards of service to around 11 million UK customers in the networks operated by this renowned utilities supplier. You`ll play a key role in ensuring we meets its regulatory standards and our customer objectives. We're ultimately a team that saves lives on a daily basis.

Key accountabilities of the Scheduler will include:

Delivering a 'right first time' service to all customers that interact with us
* If required, supporting to resolve customer enquiries & complaints from both internal and external customers, providing written, face to face or telephone response as appropriate in a timely manner
* Contributing towards first contact resolution with customers, avoiding unnecessary 'hand-off's' within our Business
* Maintaining accurate data records
* Assisting in the administration of 'Scheduling to Dispatch' activities, in line with guidelines, procedures and training
* Assisting in the delivery of training of new staff where appropriate to ensure consistency of approach and compliance with standard processes and procedures
* Participating in the measurement of individual and team objectives, to enable Business performance gaps to be identified and improved
* Working well with and rely upon the members of your team
* Actively demonstrating and promoting the our corporate Values

About YouYou'll possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:
* Verbal reasoning and articulation skills
* High standard of keyboard skills
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Office desktop packages
* Ability to use other core systems (SAP, ClickSoftware)
* Good communication skills, both written and oral
* Ability to work within a regulated environment (due to nature of our business) and can follow defined procedures and policies
* Can use a logical approach to problem solving
* Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities in response to business demands

Your shifts would be a six-week continuous pattern that would contain a mix of the below working hours:

AM: 06:45-14:00

PM: 13:30-22:15

N: 22:00-07:00

Day: 08:00 - 16:00 & 10:30-18:00 & 12:00-20:00

15:00-23:00

The shift patterns that you would be working are unfortunately pre-set therefore must be considered when applying for this role
