In House Counsel

Are you a specialist in commercial law, looking for your next challenge with a market leader within FMCG? We may have just the role for you. Due to continued growth we are growing our team; and we are looking for our own In House Legal Counsel who will support the business across the UK, including Northern Ireland across a range of commercial contracts and associated law with our suppliers and customers.
The role will provide legal counsel, guidance and specialised advice including maintaining all documentation and records relating to these areas. The role will support the Company Secretary as well as provide proactive business-focused advice and implement initiatives to reinforce a culture of integrity and ethical behaviour across the business.
Given the nature of the role, our business and the changing landscape of work, we will consider home based working, with occasional travel to our sites in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, and Cheshire, NW England as required.
What we're looking for in you:
Proven track record providing Legal provision as a solictor in a multi-site organisation, with experience in the UK and Northern Ireland preferred
Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures
Law based qualification at a Bachelors/Masters level or similar level qualifications and experience
Strong stakeholder management skills; both internally and externally with suppliers and customers
Committed to learning and self-development, with evidence of continuous professional development
Professional in approach, able to lead by example, operate sensitively in difficult situations and confidently communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
The ability to manage your own workload; with the ability to prioritise and problem solve using own initiative
Experience of working within a lean manufacturing / FMCG environment would be highly desirable
