Sales Support Administrator
£9.50 Per Hour
6 month contract (Temp to Perm)
Paid via the employer direct
£18,575 Per Annum
Mon – Fri (8.00am – 16:00pm) 37.5 hrs a week
Needs to be able to commute to S3 & S6 (Sheffield postcodes)
Purpose of Job
To promote the services offered by providing an effective sales support, co-ordination and administration function to the field sales team. Responsibilities include tracking sales leads, coordinating quotes with sales literature, providing customer service, monitoring, and recording sales data as well as general administration duties that support the senior management team.
Key Features
The job holder reports to the Sales Manager on all work and personnel issues. Daily workload is planned, agreed, and issued by the Sales Manager with additional responsibilities for the following:
Answering customer enquiries, scheduling meetings and sales appointments, and following up with customers about their order status.
Compiling a daily list of sales leads, delegating leads to the sales department, and providing sales data and guides to the sales department.
Monitoring performance indicators for sales and staff members, managing sales tracking tools, and compiling reports.
Recording sales trends by area.
Creating and processing requests for quotations in a timely manner as well as processing rush requests, to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide an additional account support contact for our customers, following up with customers for administrative purposes, queries, or other problems.
Setting up contracts with 3rd party finance providers and organising invoicing and transport
Performing data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintaining an organised and accessible filing system.
Handling administrative duties for the company and its senior management team.
Scheduling of customer review meetings, training events and supplier or customer visits to the material handling head office.
Assist in the planning and implementation of marketing activities within our Material Handling business unit based at Garforth.
Ensuring that each active customer always has adequate insurance policies in place to protect the company’s hire fleet assets.
Any other related or administrative duties as required by the Sales Manager.
SKILLS Required
Experience in an Administration position
Ideally someone who has worked within a sales department and understands how it works
The ability to understand a technical product range
