Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days)

Our client is one of the UK's leading packaging/ co-packaging providers and a global supplier of flexible film, they have grown organically year after year since its formation 26 years ago.

An exciting opportunity is available to a motivated and technically minded person and will be a key part to the growing engineering team at the UK manufacturing site.

As a multi skilled engineer you will be tasked with the running and continuous improvement of all machinery and are responsible for minimising production downtime and will become the direct point of contact for any mechanical emergencies.

Role Description
*Oversee full maintenance and repair of all machinery
*Minimise production downtime for the business and provide solutions
*Work directly with the Engineering Manager, Operations Manager and Technical Manager
*Plan preventative maintenance
*Reactive Maintenance
*Ensure all equipment has the correct safety procedures in place
*Improve quality in the production facility via planned maintenance

Skills and Qualifications
*Degree/ NVQ qualification in engineering advantageous
*Professional, driven and possess a highly motivated attitude
*Excellent management skills, people skills and can manage multiple projects
*Punctual, smart and convey the company culture and identity to a high standard
*Be required to go the 'extra mile' in line with workload capacity

Benefits

Salary: £30,000-£35,000
Holiday: 29 Days annual leave including bank holidays
Shifts: Days 40-hour week and a reactive maintenance rota once every 3 weeks
Training: In house training
