My client in Hitchin are looking for a Customer Service import/export administrator.

This is a temporary position needed immediately

The range of duties includes liaising with customers, customs brokers, other departments within the company (Planning, Production, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance etc.) and providing KPI’s for the business.

Experience in Export / Import is not essential but it will be considered an advantage.

Day to day tasks

Processing relevant export and import documentation and ensuring that all parts are ready on time to meet despatch dates of the orders

Liaising with hauliers, customs brokers and customers to ensure the orders are not susceptible to be held at any import / export point

Producing orders reports and maintaining them up to date

Keeping the records of all imports and exports up to date for both BI UK and Poland

Updating the Import / Export procedure following participation at webinars and trainings

Providing daily KPI
