Office Angels are seeking a Receptionist/Administrator to be based in our clients modern and prestigious property towards the east of Edinburgh City Centre.

The salary is £19,000 per annum with a discretionary bonus.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors to the building and will handle the flow of people through the building, acting as an ambassador for the company.

The ideal candidate will thrive interacting with people, building relationships, and will always be thinking of new ways to promote the business. You will have a keen eye for marketing and will be committed to providing an excellent customer experience to all members, tenants, and visitors to the building

Duties will include:

Greeting, welcoming, directing visitors
Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
Dealing with all incoming calls
Diary management for meeting rooms and taking booking details - dealing with any hospitality requirements.
Assist with the set up and changeover of meeting rooms
Receive and sort daily deliveries/mail/couriers
Work alongside the marketing team and participate in the creation of content suggestions for social media and other channels
Actively Marketing Meeting rooms and Day Passes.
Managing the rota for the reception area
Carry out regular building inspections/maintenance, highlighting and actioning any defects quickly and promptly as and when discovered
Working with the Assistant Manager to deliver a calendar of community activities/events to enhance your community engagement
Liaise with contractors regarding any planned maintenance or reactive works
Advise visitors on Covid-19 Health & Safety measures and ensure they are adhered to by everyone

The successful candidate will be:

Have previous experience of running a busy reception area
Have an excellent telephone manner in addition to being articulate and courteous
Provide a friendly welcome and create an excellent impression of the client's organisation
Have the ability to multi-task and be flexible in approach to daily duties
IT skills i.e. Windows, Excel & MS Outlook
Strong initiative and proactive working mannerThis is a full-time position - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
