A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, a blue-chip company are looking to recruit a Transport Office Admin based in, MK43 0YL Milton Keynes. This is a full-time on- going temporary role paying £10.55 per hour working Monday to Friday 40+ hours a week 7.00am - 4.00pm but must be flexible, over time rates included. You must be able to start immediately!

There are trains from Bedford (20 minutes) which will take you directly to Ridgmont train station which is just a 10-minute walk away. There is also a direct bus route from Milton Keynes (30 minutes)

We will subsidise the cost of your travel for the first 4 weeks!!The role:

SPECIFIC ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES

Be a key point of contact for all TIGI teams (CS, Operations, Sales and external hauliers/customers)
Building strong relationships with drivers and haulier companies at all times
Completing paperwork and documents for invoices, customs and customer requirements
Confirming haulier schedules and customer delivery slot bookings
Prioritise work schedules and understand the importance of working to strict deadlines
Keeping logistics reporting up to date and sharing with management
Raising PO's for hauliers
Supporting the operations team with enquiries and investigations/claims
General transport admin

GENERAL SITE RESPONSIBILTIES

Adhere to the company's health and safety policy and actively support new initiatives
Take reasonable care for health and safety of both yourself and your colleagues whilst at work
Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and procedure via proactive and reactive reporting
Carry out any other duties or activities related to the activities of TIGI as requested by line or senior management.
To be a strong individual who can make quick-thinking decisions within a busy warehouse office environment.

PERSON PROFILE

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Technically competent in Microsoft Office and warehouse software packages, with good numerical skills
Knowledge about Oracle system will be beneficial but not required as full training will be given
Team player
Excellent attention to detail is a must
