You will be joining an established team who can show you the ropes of the role. You will be processing payments, reconciling bank payments, processing invoices and running reports. There is an opportunity for you to make this Purchase Ledger role your own.

Client Details

The client is based on the outskirts of Cardiff and is easily accessible. The client is hosted on a busy site, where customers have easy access to the finance team and so you are likely to be asked small financial queries on a day to day basis.

Description

As the Purchase Ledger you will have ownership of:

Preparing cheques or make cash payments to employees, customers, suppliers, or other parties or
for approved expenditures or refunds.

Liaise with suppliers and ensure queries in relation to payments are answered accordingly.

Collecting and distributing the external mail that comes into the business on a
daily basis
Processing staff expenses.
Reconciling supplier statements.
Allocate postings in for bank accounts, direct debits, credit card and one off payments.

Intercompany payments

Monitor and update exchange rate

Monitor receipts into Bank

Profile

The successful candidate will:

Have previously worked in finance or have studied a Accounting degree/AAT
Be Customer Focused
Have intermediate excel skills
Have SAP, Oracle or SAGE experienceJob Offer

The successful Purchase Ledger will:

Based in Cardiff
Received £20,000-£22,000 DOE
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
