Let's Talk Programme Coordinator
Public Sector - Local Authority
4 days per week - Mon to Thurs - 29 hours per week
Temporary Contract - 3 months (possible extension)
£20.10 per hour PAYE / £26.02 per hour Umbrella
2 to 3 days per week in Hounslow, remainder working from home

PURPOSE OF ROLE: : To co-ordinate and facilitate the Let's Talk Programme for children, young people and mothers affected by domestic violence (based on the Community Group Programme).

You will deliver face to face groups to women and children.
Groups are at a location in Hounslow 2/3 days per week.
Remainder of your time can be remote working or in office.
Groups will be held in cleaned rooms, large enough for distancing.
Hand sanitiser and wipes will be provided. Candidates will be required to bring their own masks.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Coordinate and facilitate the Let's Talk mothers' and children's groups.
Ensure the continuation of a multi-agency team to deliver the therapeutic groups. This will include identifying appropriate facilitators for the programme and organising the relevant training for the effective delivery of the groups.
Produce an action plan for the continuation of the Let's Talk Programme with clear targets and provide progress reports to the Early Intervention Service and the Community Safety Team.
Ensure the continuation of appropriate external supervision for all group facilitators.
Ensure clients are informed of services provided by other agencies, where appropriate referred to them, and supported in their dealings with them.
Deliver presentations to and develop positive working relationships with relevant agencies regarding the nature of the programme and produce promotional materials in order to raise the profile and ensure appropriate referrals are made.
Continue to develop the evaluation procedure that ensures that children, young people and mothers are given the opportunity to influence future programme development.
Work with referring agencies in both the statutory and voluntary sectors in order to provide more effective responses and support for children and young people living with domestic violence in line with borough action plans in these areas
Attendance and participation at meetings (in particular Domestic Violence Network meetings and Violence against Women and Girls Strategy Group), reviews, conferences, working parties and training courses as appropriate.
Provide data and information, of both quantitative and qualitative nature, as required.
Liaise closely with staff in the Council and in other agencies to ensure that all work is culturally sensitive and appropriate to the needs of various communities living and working in Hounslow.
To contribute to corporate and partnership strategies to ensure the continuation of domestic provision in Hounslow.
To attend meetings outside of the borough as well as attend occasional meetings and events in the evenings and at weekends.
