Job Description:
Post will work on our Parking project to model the income and costs associated with running the Borough's parking service. A model current exists but needs tweaking. This is where the need to have excellent Excel knowledge comes in. The post holder will have to wade through a huge amount of data, analysing and present it in a format that will convey information and insight.
The second post will work on the utilities accounts with schools. There is a huge amount of historical mis-postings/ mis-charging to schools for utilities which the were paid for on behalf of schools. Work is needed to untangle these accounts and come up with the right amounts that each location should pay back to the Borough. For this we require someone with excellent communication skills who is at ease in face to face discourse as well as via email, etc. The job will necessitate contacting and meeting with all of the school Bursars.
Mostly working from home but would be required to attend the office at least once per week (Mondays).
Excellent communications skill: written and in person
Organised - comfortable with arranging, hosting, and minuting meetings with school leaders.
Excellent at analysing data and using Microsoft Excel to present and share information
Experience of double entry bookkeeping
