Management Accountant - 3-6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Interaction Accountancy and Finance are actively recruiting on behalf of a well established local business in their search for a Management to join their team on a 3 - 6 month Fixed Term Contract.

Supporting the financial controller, due to an increased workload, main duties include:

Preparing monthly management accounts in accordance to deadlines
Providing analysis and commentary
Management of capital expenditure - reporting on actual vs budget
Sales ledger - posting monthly and annual invoices
Reconciliation work, including bank, cash book and balance sheet
Quarterly VAT returns
Other adhoc duties required to support the team
Suitable applicants should have the following skills and experience:

Proven track record within a similar accounting role
Ideally working towards a formal accountancy qualification - although Qualified by Experience will be considered
Strong understanding of financial reporting under UK GAAP
Hands on team player with a flexible attitude
This role is available for an Immediate start following a Teams interview with the client.  The client is able to offer flexible working, with a hybrid home/office working pattern.
