Job Details
Based in central Warrington, my client is looking for a Carers Service Manager to join their busy, fast paced office reporting to the Chief Executive aiming to coordinate the work of the Carers Team.
This is a full time, permanent position with an immediate start for a highly competent individual with a passion to help others.
A degree of flexibility is required due to the nature of the role, as it may sometimes involve working out of hours.
The working hours: Monday - Friday (37.5 per week).
Salary: £28,000 per annum
DBS check - essential.
Ability to drive and sole use of vehicle - essential.
The role includes:
The role will be managing a team of 3 staff and the main focus is to provide advocacy and emotional support to Carers, undertake assessments and facilitate group sessions.
The main aims for the successful candidate are:
Management of staff and services.
Monitoring the evaluation of their quality transition service creating monthly, quarterly reports to clearly demonstrate progress.
Represent the company at external meetings.
Build and maintain positive relationships outside and inside organisation to maximise support network.
Raise awareness, publicise, promote and deliver sessions externally.
Support Carers - provide advocacy, emotional support and carry out assessments where required.
Development of services - recruit, train volunteers, identify where external funding is necessary.
Bid writing.
Evaluate service delivery against contract requirements and make improvements to process.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Understand Safeguarding legislation.
Collect and collate information for the purpose of regular statistical and qualitative reporting, with input from clients and staff.
Exhibit a professional, friendly and approachable demeanour to clients, colleagues and other professionals at all times.
Utilise effective time management techniques to ensure tasks are prioritised, and agreed deadlines are met.
