Job Details
Purpose of the role: To support the Senior Manufacturing Planner, learning and developing administrative planning skills whilst gaining knowledge of the company planning processes.
Responsibilities:
Maintain production schedules ensuring all housekeeping is kept up to date.
Expedite purchase orders from the supplier base.
Provide accurate information to Customer Services on product availability.
Highlight any concerns with meeting availability dates committed.
Be involved in annual stock taking with the warehouse department.
Maintain master data in Navision.
Support the manufacturing planners by learning process for holiday cover.
General planning administrative duties.
Person Specification:
Good attention to detail.
A can-do attitude.
Good team player with the initiative to also work on their own.
Effective communication skills
Qualifications/Skills:
Maths GCSE C or above
English GCSE C or Above
Experience of Microsoft Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
