A food manufacturing business based in York is currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team. The Finance Assistant will mainly be responsible for the Accounts Payable function, as well as supporting the finance team where necessary.
The business has recently gone through an acquisition, which means more progression opportunities for the successful Finance Assistant. A competitive salary of up £25,000 is on offer as well as 30 days annual leave.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include:
Processing invoices (high volume)
Managing paperless system
Payment runs
Ad hoc analysis
Analysis of costingsWe are keen to speak with individuals who have experience in a high volume ledger, accounts assistant or finance assistant role.
The successful Finance Assistant will:
Be studying or have studied their AAT qualification (or QBE)
Have experience using accountancy software such as Sage or Xero
