Hales Residential Care are recruiting Healthcare Assistants and/or Support Workers on behalf of our clients based in Ipswich, Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Stowmarket and the surrounding areas. 

As a Care Assistant or Support Worker helping out our clients, you will be expected to assist with all activities of daily living such as, personal care, taking residents out into the community, food prep, filling in cons logs. At all times your focus must be assisting out clients to ensure that they live a happy and fulfilled life with choices and independence wherever possible on a day to day basis. 

Duties will include:

Assisting service users with their personal care needs and help to provide health supervision and attention through direct care as needed
Working in a multi-disciplinary team whilst using your own initiative
Complying with guidelines and policies at all times
Contributing to the efficient running of the establishment and the creation of an atmosphere conductive to the best interest of service users
Encouraging service users to remain as independent as possible
Carrying out any other tasks that may reasonably be assigned to you by Senior Staff
Assisting with Personal care
Taking service users out in the community
Experience required:

Previous experience of working in a care environment (prefered, but not required due to full training will be provided)
Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening
