This is a permanent role and the perfect opportunity to carve out a long-term career within a reputable business.
Role Brief:
Working usually as part of a small project team; often comprising Project Manager, Supervisor, Engineer and Quantity Surveyor
This is a 'hands on' Quantity Surveying role and the candidate would very much be part of the delivery team - providing commercial advise and support to the project team where required
Suitable candidates will have worked within a rail environment previously & will have the potential to be involved with Permanent Way, Signalling and Civil Engineering projects
Typical contract values - £50k to £5m
Working nationwide, with potential for overnight stays where required (generally no more than 1 night per week). Must be willing to travel around the country
Typically working as a subcontractor on projects in rail depots, sidings, terminals, steelworks, etc.
General contract administration duties, ensuring the best commercial result for the company is achieved
