£39,406 + 10% allowance (OTE £43,282).

Warwickshire (M40 corridor).

With a new leadership team and strategic expansion plans, a small number of opportunities have arisen for Hypercar Technicians to join their talented team, supporting with the production of both new and current prototype vehicles. Working within a team of Departmental Leads, Engineers and Technicians, you will be supporting the build operations across build stations; whilst liaising with build support staff at all levels. Ensuring the highest possible standard of work is paramount.

Working within a team of Department Leads and Engineers and leading a team of Technicians, your crew will be responsible for the preparation, service and maintenance of Hypercar prototype vehicles. In addition, you will also be responsible for facilitating whole vehicle and component testing, whilst also supporting testing overseas.

The key responsibilities for this role are as follows:

Vehicle service and repair.
Vehicle test preparation.
Vehicle set-up.
Vehicle build.
Stripping and inspecting parts.
Measuring components.
Fabrication of components.
Maintaining basic instrumentation setups.
Liaising with System and Development Engineers regarding possible issues identified.
Problem solving to aid in the solution of vehicle issues.My client is keen to hear from people who are mechanically trained with a City & Guilds Level 3 (or similar) and who possess five years' motorsport expertise. You will be technically strong, by nature, proactive, creative and have the ability to ensure the highest possible standard of workmanship is maintained, not only by yourself; but also your crew,

In return, my client is offering a salary of £39,406 with the addition of a 10% lead tech allowance, taking your total annual earning to £43,282. The role is for a fixed, two year contract but there may be future development opportunities within the organisation, for those who want it.
