Our client is looking for an Export Coordinator to join their business in Croydon as an Export Coordinator where you will be responsible for the provision of logistics excellence through delivery of goods to customers on time which includes exports and customs.

Our client is a specialist manufacturer based near Croydon who are looking for an Export and Customs Coordinator to join their team.

Description

The successful candidate will join my clients operation near Croydon and will undertake the following roles and responsibilities.

Work to agreed standard and service level agreements to provide logistics excellence for the organisation, including:

Assisting and supporting the team to achieve on time delivery target
Working closely with the customer service team to ensure customer's requirements are fulfilled within agreed operational lead times
Ensuring all relevant export and customs paperwork complies with current regulations
Issuing picking lists and driver paperwork to dispatch
Manage transport bookings in a timely and cost-effective manner, maximising load efficiency and proactively drive for logistics improvement opportunities
Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, transport providers, and internal departments; participate actively in team meetings.
Encourage and maintain information exchange between the LC and internal departments such as QA, Planning, Customer Service, Finance and Provide regular KPI reporting to track progress against target to improve performance.
Undertake any other duties as required from time to time, commensurate with the roleProfile

The successful candidate will live within a commutable distance to Croydon and will hold the following attributes:

Knowledge of export and customs documentation is desirable
Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, excel and word
