A diverse food business supplying hotels, pubs and restaurants up and down the UK with whole, prepared or cooked food are looking for an Operations Administrator to join a busy warehouse administrative team at their location in Bicester. The successful candidate will support all areas of production administration, including operational, commercial and development. You will be a strong communicator maintaining regular contact with both internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience in customer service and intermediate computer skills essential. The role includes inputting and processing of orders, producing invoices and e-mailing and communicating with relevant parties.
The role works on a shift basis of which does including evening hours and weekends usually 12.00pm - 9.00pm
Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Receiving and processing telephone and electronic orders from clients
Assist the Operations Manager with support for the daily running of the warehouse operation
Prepare client reports as and when required
Process orders through from order receipt through to delivery - overseeing the process order journey
Work on Saturday (5am-2pm) / Sunday (12pm-9pm) but this would be on a rotational basis.
Handling client complaints or enquiries
Assisting and communicating with the transport department
Organising deliveries to clientsKnowledge, Skills and Experience:
Experience in a similar fast paced work environment
Excellent computer skills including Word and Outlook
Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as a teamIn return the client is offering a salary of £26k and good benefits.
