THE ROLE:
You will work on a fleet of vehicles carrying out preventive maintenance which includes using a variety of hand-held tools to extract old nuts and bolts and install new ones. This is a technical position that requires a high level of attention to detail.
DUTIES:
* Drilling and extracting using hand-held tools (e.g. easy-out tool)
* Problem solving
* Carry out assignments in a timely manner
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
* Work effectively as part of a team or independently
* Comply with all EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work site
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
* Strong attention to detail
* Problem solving and analytical skills
* Experience in a hands-on mechanical position, candidates from these types of positions would be suitable: Coach Builder, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Fitter/Engineer, Fabrication Engineer
* General mechanical and fabrication skills, metalworking experience
* Welding skills advantageous but not essential
* Health and safety / safe working knowledge
HOURS OF WORK:
Flexible working hours
HOURLY RATE:
£16 - £17 PAYE OR £20 LTD via Umbrella
