Job Details

We are currently recruiting for administrative support for Gloucestershire County Council in Gloucester, within GIS Healthcare. We are looking hiring for multiple teams within this vacancy. Admin & Finance, Transport and Purchasing Teams.

The roles will be full-time, working around 37 hours a week, Monday- Friday. This role is looking to be ongoing for a minimum of 6 months.

Admin & Finance Team - to answer telephone calls / emails and queries from professionals and members of the public. To be a gate keeper. To monitor a generic mailbox and emails to be sent to the relevant department. To support the admin team with generic admin, arranging meetings / photocopying etc. To support with queries / checking of invoices against spreadsheets / data entry arranging servicing and LOLER checks with clients. Data entry onto the new system when in place. Setting up accounts on the new system, supporting with comms to partner agencies such as health.
Transport Team - to update the order / delivery and collections spreadsheet. To answer telephone and email queries from assessors. To telephone to arrange collections. Data entry of all relevant information onto the new system. General admin. Support with the implementation of the new system. Support with the implementation of the new system e.g., arranging training etc. Collating information as to who will need access to the new system.
Purchasing Team - Calling providers to get an update on stock. Dealing with orders when they come in - updating the spreadsheet and asking for barcode information to be place on the piece of equipment and updating a spreadsheet. Dealing with queries from assessors about when stock comes in. Updating / data input of all equipment (stock) order and fulfilment. Support with the implementation of the new system. More activities and tasks will be become visible once we know which provider we will be working with.

Skills required:

Good attention to detail.
Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and ability to pick up new systems quickly.
Excellent IT user.
NVQ 3 in Business Administration or appropriate equivalent qualification/experience.
Educated to GCSE level in Mathematics and English to Grade C or above.
